The Williams sisters urge African women to play tennis  Serena and Venus Williams with the Governor Raji Fashola of Lagos State  Taking their own successes in women's tennis, a sport which before them was dominated by white players, the sisters in their Breaking the Mould Tour in Africa want to inspire women in the African continent to take up the sport and, more generally, to pursue their dreams despite whatever odds they face in male dominated societies. "We were able to break the mould and win a lot of grand slams and change the face of tennis ... when tennis was very dominated by white people," 31-year-old Serena said three days after beating rival Maria Sharapova in the final of the WTA Championships in Istanbul. Photos from Runway 3: More designs On the 10th of November, the 'Runway' brand had its third fashion show, Runway 3 at Thisday Dome, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Echendu, Chigurl, Denrele Edun and Matilda Duncan. Among the designers were Elizee, Women's Designers World, John Frica, Debbie African Stitches, Zohir Taglit, Baldon, and Add Ons. There were also musical performances and comedy. Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the former Biafran leader who died early this year, showed great love to his wife, Bianca, now an ambassador of Nigeria to Spain. Though he willed almost everything he had to her, according to the will read in Enugu High Court today, but there was a well guarded secret he never revealed to Bianca until he died 26 November 2011 after a protracted illness: his love child, a girl.
